An Introduction to 11 Faiths

When we know more about each other, including religion, lives are enriched and faiths are strengthened. We wanted to share this extremely helpful Interfaith Handbook (see below) that was created by a team at the Boston Avenue United Methodist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This interfaith handbook outlines 11 religions, with a brief description of the basic beliefs and answers to commonly asked questions. It is not intended to be a comprehensive study. It was created to promote a better understanding of the different faiths.

There is some Tulsa-specific information (we'd love to do a Mecklenburg version at some point!), but most of the information is more general. The list of sources near the end is a great place to start if you want to learn more on your own.
