When we know more about each other, including religion, lives are enriched and faiths are strengthened. We wanted to share this extremely helpful Interfaith Handbook (see below) thatwas created by a team at the Boston Avenue United Methodist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This interfaith handbook outlines 11 religions, with a brief description of the basic beliefs and answers to commonly asked questions. It is not intended to be a comprehensive study. It was created to promote a better understanding of the different faiths.
There is some Tulsa-specific information (we'd love to do a Mecklenburg version at some point!), but most of the information is more general. The list of sources near the end is a great place to start if you want to learn more on your own.
